But when he is confined to bed after he has an accident and falls down the well, Mrs. Hoggett (Magda Szubanski) insists she enter the talented pig in the state fair to make money to save the farm. She and Babe get lost in the city while trying to search for a hotel that accepts pets such as pigs. They check in to a place that is populated by performing animals who plot to steal not just her suitcase but her pig as well. Babe is helped by his old friend Ferdinand the duck (voice of Danny Mann) who flew to the city earlier to escape being eaten on the farm.
